
Tammy L. Rideout Donald, 64, passed away on February 26, 2025, after a courageous and stoic battle with lung cancer.
Born to Edith Rideout and Gordon Rideout, Tammy was a woman of strength, integrity, and boundless love. She was predeceased by her father, Gordon and her brother, Jason Rideout. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 28 years, John M. Donald; her daughters, Janine Lancaster and Melissa Lancaster, Kent Donald, Karen Donald Herbert, and Lissa Donald. Tammy also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Eowyn Thorpe, Fiona Gordon, and Darius Peak, as well as her sister, Kelly Rideout-Cannell, and her brother, John Rideout.
Tammy’s life was a testament to perseverance, kindness, and an unshakable commitment to doing what was right. She inspired those around her to give their all in everything they did, never quitting until the job was complete. And this week, her job was complete.
She leaves behind a husband filled with a lifetime of cherished memories, children who carry her resilience and strength, and grandchildren who will always know the meaning of unconditional love.
Tammy’s legacy of living life, laughing hard, and loving God will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire.
