Sherry Lynn Eschenbrenner age 76 of Bristol, CT, died peacefully Thursday January 9, 2025 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut - New Britain. She was born October 14, 1948 in New Britain, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Williard and Mary (Coleman) Eschenbrenner. Sherry was predeceased by her brother Willard “John” Eschenbrenner, her cousin Jennifer, and her “Little Sweetheart” Allison Ashley Ellen Clark. She leaves behind her cousins Claudia, Terri, Stephen, and Robin, and their families, her nephew Gary, and her boyfriend, John Norman, of New Britain.
Sherry was a loving woman who adored spending time with her friends and family. She loved traveling and spending time in New Hampshire with her grandparents, cousins, and mother. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed going out to breakfast with her friends, watching Hallmark movies, and playing Bingo at Kamanetsky. She participated in many art and exercise programs at the Bristol Senior Center. She was an active member of Trinity Covenant Church in Plainville and most recently, Bethany Covenant Church in Berlin. She loved caring for children in the nursery and volunteering at Vacation Bible School in the summers. She participated in Bible Studies and was passionate about her love for crafts, friends, family, and above all, Jesus.
The family wishes to thank her good friends, Jeannie, Debbie, Joan, Marilyn and Ruth for their years of friendship, rides to church and appointments, and visits while in the hospital. She will truly be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 31 at Bethany Covenant Church in Berlin at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethany Covenant Church Memorial Fund.
