Sharon Lynn Clements, 66, of New London, CT transitioned at home as per her request, on May 8, 2024. Affectionately known as “Queen Warrior” by her husband, Guy E, Clements, Sr., for almost 18 years. They remained together for over 28 years. Sharon was both raised and educated in New London, and she retired after more than 20 years of service with Aramark Food Services, Inc., at the United States Coast Guard Academy. Sharon was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Albert L. and Alzira Medeiros McBee of New London, CT.
Besides her husband Sharon leaves to mourn her passing, siblings Jacqueline Noble-Dechenes of Punta-Gorda, FL, James (Julie) of Aurora, CO, her “womb-mate for nine months but twin for eternity Karen L. McBee Mims. She is also survived by her daughter Shardell “Delli” Hill, and granddaughter Zira K. Hill, of New London; three stepchildren, Guy E. Clements, II (Laura) of Matthew, NC, Chenoa C. Clements of Hartford, CT, and Joshua D. Clements of Manchester, CT. Then there is her loyal dog, her other companion, and nurse, Bella – her five-year-old “fuzzy, face fur ball”. A host of nephews, nieces, other family members, and friends near and far.

The family would like to thank everyone aware of Sharon’s demise so far, for the kind words and generosity, the overwhelming support and prayers, and her prayer team of various faiths and ethnicities. It matters not who or where you are from, what matters is that the heart and mind are pure. We all serve an all-knowing God.
At the request of Mrs. Clements, witnessed by her attorney and two siblings, there will be no celebration of life, no funeral, wake or repast; she has requested that her remains be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
Missing you on your birthday! I know you’re safe, at peace and resting. Truly a queen warrior. I will always remember and treasure your friendship. One of the best… God always brings those closest to him back home in paradise. I love you Sharon!💔

Sharon was my cousin and one of my best friends. We experienced so many things together and I am thankful for all of them.
