Robert G. Dazy (Bob) 82, of Uncasville, passed away on January 17, 2025, in New London CT. He was born on December 7, 1942, in Willimantic CT to the late Emile and Rita (Boulay) Dazy. He served six years in the Army Reserves, retired from Arwoood/Wyman Gorman (heat treat), Mohegan Sun after many years of service. He is survived by his beloved children, George Hewett of Texas, Belinda Jurzyk of New London, Lisa McQuown of Oakdale, Billie Dawn (Eric) Bisaillon of New York. Robert is also survived by his grandchildren, Paula, Bonnie Jurzyk, Joey Dewaine, Thomas Gingerella, Chelsea (Zach), Cowan, Paul McQuown, Dakota, Colton Poinsett, Sonceray Hewett, Kayla (Jason) Nagle, Amanda (Keith Gillenwalters) Bisaillon, Eric Jr. (Gabrielle) Bisaillon, He is also survived by 4 great granddaughters & 9 Great Grandsons, his brother Roland Dazy of Norwich along with several nieces, nephews. His grandchildren referred to him as, Papa and Grandpa. Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara A. Dazy in November 2020 who he married on April 24, 1967, his daughter April Poinsett, Grandson Robert W. Hewett, sisters, Theresa Rollett, Viola Moseley and a Brother Ernest Dazy.
