Richard Prenez passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on March 10, 2025, at Stone Bridge Health in Newtown, CT. He was born on September 26, 1943.
Richard is survived by his partner, Marie Delpercio of Monroe, CT; daughters Laura Giancarli and her husband Greg of Waterbury, CT, Marlene Schulman and her husband Michael of Florida, Christine Comerford and her husband Thomas of Middlebury, CT; Pattie Farkash and her husband Alex of Terryville, CT; and Elizabeth Pereira and her husband Joe of Philadelphia. He also leaves behind his sisters, Barbara Zigadto, Marilyn Muzzicato, and Joanne Prenez, as well as several nieces, a nephew, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Francis Prenez, his brother Frank Prenez, and his daughter Cheryl Prenez.
In honoring Richard's wishes, there will be no services.
