Michael David Milano, of Hartford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2025. Born on November 19, 1955, in Hartford, CT, he was the beloved son of the late Sheila and Saverio Milano of Wethersfield, CT.
Michael was truly one of a kind. He spent time working for The City of Hartford, Manchester Movers, and Comstock Ferry, but he was best known for his larger-than-life personality. A die-hard New York Yankees and New York Giants fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his teams. He had a deep love for playing basketball and could often be found on the court. He also enjoyed playing Setback with his close friends, where the games were always filled with friendly competition and laughter. A true jokester, Michael had a gift for making people laugh, and his sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Above all, Michael's greatest joy was his family. He adored his daughter, Brittany Milano-Martinez, and her husband, Jonathan Martinez. But his most cherished role was being "GoGo" to his beloved grandchildren—Ellyott, Millany, Khaleesi, and Leonydas Martinez. He filled their lives with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Michael will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, kindness, and humor will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on February 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 311 Capitol Ave, Hartford, CT 06106. We invite his friends and family to please attend and honor his memory together.
