GLASTONBURY - Marilyn B. (DePue) Stevenson, 83, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025.
Born on August 6, 1941, in Summit, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Iva. After many years of service, Marilyn retired from the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch.
A member of the Gallup Hill Baptist Church in Ledyard, CT, Marilyn’s life was marked by her faith and love for our Lord Jesus. The family finds solace in knowing that Marilyn’s spirit lives on through the grace and love he instilled in us, and she will forever reside in their hearts.
She is survived by her daughter Jean Marie Weisbrod, a sister Michelle Raye, her grandchildren Sarah Anne and husband Brad, Susan Claire and husband Marc, her great-grandchildren Brandon, Ender, Elton, and Ember, many nieces and nephews, and cousin Joan Swanger. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lois Anne Nyberg and sisters Eleanor Cox, Lois Murray, and Suzanne Horkay.
Her family would like to give special thanks to both the medical team and staff at Salmon Brook Nursing Facility, Glastonbury, CT, for the many years of dedicated care and to the staff at Masonicare, Hospice and Palliative Care for their support to Marilyn and her family members.
And a special thank you to Lori Ashburner and Gail LeClair for their dear friendships with Marilyn.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life Service will be arranged at a future date.
