Lawrence Roger Pronovost




Lawrence Roger Pronovost 68, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home cared for by his loving wife, family members, and the most wonderful nurses from Hartford Healthcare @ Home.

Son of the late Roger and Yvette(LaChance)Pronovost. Predeceased by his precious son Daniel, and a brother Allan Pronovost (Mary Pruscino) of Haslet, TX.

He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Margaret (Hills), a stepson, Caleb Prue and his wife, Jennifer(Henry), granddaughter Emerson, and her brother Nathanael of Colchester, Connecticut. A stepdaughter Rachel Prue and her husband Eric Tetreault of Southbridge, Massachusetts. A stepdaughter Jill Harris of Meriden, Connecticut.

Larry grew up in Waterbury, Connecticut, he graduated from Kaynor Tech. He owned and worked on many cars in his youth, owning a ‘67 GTO among others. He also loved history and had accomplished many hours of study of the Civil War and collected much on the subject, some donated to the New England Civil War Museum in Vernon Connecticut. He worked in the wholesale flower business for 33 years ending with Seagroatt Wholesale, and also Price Chopper. He loved the Rolling Stones, Rock ‘n’ roll and the Blues. He enjoyed the beaches of Rhode Island and cooking.

He also leaves a sister, Kathy Calabrese, and husband Angelo of Greeley, Colorado. And a brother Peter Pronovost also from Greeley. His sister, Carolyn Guerriero and husband, Nick from Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Also many nieces and nephews.
