Larry Taricani

Larry Taricani, 73, of Bristol and New Britain, Connecticut, passed away at home on March 22, 2025.

Larry attended E. C. Goodwin Technical High School, which was where he initially developed his exceptional culinary skills. He found great pleasure and peace in the outdoors. He loved hiking the Metacomet and Appalachian Trails, and camping and kayaking at Crescent Lake. He was an avid reader and loved to feed local birds.

Larry was passionate about music. He was a beloved brother, a father, a proud union member, and was generous and kind to those he loved. Larry especially cherished time spent with his family, particularly during the holidays.

Larry is mourned by his daughter, Jill Taricani, and by his siblings Lydia Brophy of Southington, Beth Richards of Danielson, and David Taricani of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, along with his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Ruth Giovannucci and Thomas Taricani, and by his parents Edwin and Grace Taricani.

The family extends special gratitude to Larry's friend, Tony Cifone, for his extraordinary support. Memorial services will be private.
