On July 1,2023 Joanne Williams passed away peacefully in her home in Plainfield, CT. Joanne was born in Bennington, Vermont on June 4, 1940 to Clifford and Lois (Keyes) Merriam. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Williams and her stepsons Dale Williams and Patrick Williams. She is survived by her two sons, Stephen and David Morgan and step children Daniel Williams, Denise Bowman, Dennis Williams, and Diane Dell as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joanne will be remembered for her love of quilting, crocheting and gardening. She enjoyed social gatherings with her quilting group and participated in weekly activities within her community and senior center. She was devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed making memories with them. A private service will be held in Plainfield, CT at a later date.
