Imani Gonzalez December 21, 1988 - March 22, 2019
Imani Gonzalez, age 30 of Naugatuck Connecticut passed away peacefully on March 22, 2019 surrounding by her loving family (aka crazy family).
She was born December 21, 1988 and graduated from Harding High School in 2007. She was employed by Bow Tie Cinema. Her greatest joy in life were movies, music, video games, scratch off tickets, spending time with her nieces, nephews and friends.
Imani is survived and will be missed by her parents Rosin and Jose L. Martinez. Also survived by brother Jesse Martinez, sisters Catrina Dias, Adriana Gonzalez, nieces/nephews Briana, Gabriel, Jasmine Martinez, Lilliana Gonzalez, Samara, Nikolas Dias and Destiney Marquez. Including her aunts Delia Diaz, Lucy, Carmen Gonzalez, Milagros Aguilar and several other family members.
Special thanks to her lifelong friend, Mikala Moore who stood by her side until the end.
Imani's final resting place will be at the Mountain Grove Cemetery, 215 Dewey Street in Bridgeport at 2pm on June 17, 2019. Private gathering for family and friends will be held at the home of the parents.
