Henry Francis Castellon peacefully transitioned from this life on March 9, 2025. He was the son of Phillip and Christine Castellon. Henry was born June 19, 1951. He is survived by his sisters Maryann Hensinger and Cristie Davies. Henry lived in Branford, CT the majority of his, life and then he moved to Norwich, CT.
He was the devoted son and big brother to his younger sister Cristie. They enjoyed a full scope of activities including many Beach Boy concerts, enjoying the Penny slots at the casino and playing countless hours with Jesse, Cristie's dog. Jesse loved the water and playing frisbee, including participating in competitions with other pups!
Henry was in the automotive business for many years, buying and selling cars and parts. Saabs and Porsches were his favorite.
Many of his customers became his friends. He enjoyed a full spectrum of many friends. Henry was always loyal and supportive to others. A true friend.
Henry was very active and had many hobbies and interests. He was an accomplished ping-pong player, going back to his college days and played competitively with various clubs. Henry enjoyed skiing and was an avid boater. He enjoyed sailing and power boating. Which, of course included fishing, catching many stripers and bluefish.
Henry always enjoyed playing cards. Poker was his game of choice. He played in various casinos around the country before settling into a steady routine at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
There will be a memorial service and celebration of his life in the future. All of his friends and family will be welcomed to attend. Memorial donations can be made in his name to Apple Rehab of Uncasville, Connecticut or Beacon Hospice. Both took very good care of him.
