Hartley Louis Anderson, 80, of Ellington passed away on Thursday, September 16th 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Middletown on June 25th 1941, the son of the late John and Ethel Anderson. "Butch" lived in Hartford and East Windsor before moving to Ellington where he resided for the last 6 years.
"Butch" leaves his wife of 57 years, Rose Carlotta Picaro Anderson, his daughter Alice Quinn, Dennis, of Ellington, son Nicholas Anderson, Giselle, of Middletown, along with 5 grandchildren, Nicholas Anderson of Lebanon, CT, Noah Anderson of Middletown, and Jack, Maggie & Kate Quinn of Ellington. He's also survived by his twin brother Harley Anderson of Zephyrhills, FL, his sister Rosemary Garafolo of East Hampton, CT and many neices and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his brothers Burnice "Bun" , Warren and sister Claire.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
