Gladys Eutsey, born on October 29, 1941, in Columbia, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home in Groton, Connecticut, on January 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Clinton Eutsey; her parents, Robert and Jessiebell Guider; and her sister Linda. She is lovingly remembered by her children Frankie, Desiree, and Michael; her grandchildren Anthony and Brianna; and her siblings Georgia, Peewee, Joe Dean, Willie, and Alvin.
Gladys dedicated many years of service working at the Naval Submarine Base in New London. Her dedication and hard work left a lasting impression on those she worked with throughout her career. In her free time, Gladys found great joy in bingo, visiting casinos, bowling, and traveling. These activities brought laughter and happiness to both herself and those who shared these moments with her.
Burial will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
May Gladys's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
