Franz Albert Mengden "Albert", 69, of Windsor, CT. Beloved husband for 44 years to Bridged Saimeri Mengden, passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021.
Born in Dietfurt, Germany, son of late Konstantin and Albertina Mengden. Albert was a hard working man. He was a self employed siding contractor for many years before working at Napa Auto Parts, where he retired after 23 years with the company in 2018.
He leaves behind his three children. Son, Erik Mengden and significant other Briana Melloni and grandchildren, Jayson, Michael, Angelo and step-granddaughter Chiara of West Springfield. Son, Michael Mengden and wife Kimberly and grandchildren, Annabelle, Elizabeth and Charlotte of East Hartford. Daughter, Samantha Alfonso and husband James and grandchildren, Zoe and James of Windsor. He also leaves behind his sister, Ria Lutz of East Stroudsburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date for family only.
