Evelyn G. Keller, age 93, passed peacefully at her Middlefield, Ct. home, June 19th.
Mrs. Keller was born January 28th, 1926 to Carmine and Theresa Gallo of New York City. She grew up in Palisades Park, NJ attending Leonia High School. She worked for Bell Laboratories.
Evelyn Gilda Gallo married Edward Keller in 1946. The couple lived and raised three children in Palisades Park. She moved to Hillsdale, NJ where she served as the president of the Holy Rosery Society at St. John’s Catholic Church.
She and Eddie moved to Seaside Park, NJ and Evelyn was employed as the secretary for the Seaside Park School.
The couple moved to Merritt Island, Florida where Evelyn lived for 40 years. She spent the past four years living with her daughter, Judy, in Connecticut.
Evelyn is survived by her adult children, Judith Kalinowski, Woody Keller, and Michael Keller. She leaves 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. All knew her well and loved her dearly.
Mrs. Keller loved opera, music, reading, and was an avid fan of crossword puzzles. Evelyn was quick to offer her home to her family and openly shared the love of the beach and Florida. She lived a long, influential life and will be remembered fondly.
