
Edward Thomas Radigan, born on August 19, 1945, in Astoria, New York, son of the late Edward T. and Dorothy Strauss Radigan, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, in Milford, Connecticut. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Hemingway Radigan and a cherished member of his family.
Ed grew up in West Islip, New York, and earned his MBA in Finance from Hofstra University. Over the course of his career, he excelled as a CPA and CFO but also embraced his entrepreneurial spirit by owning a printing company and renovating and flipping houses with his wife, Deborah. His professional accomplishments were matched by his zest for life and love for family.
Ed and Deb shared a life filled with adventure, residing in Connecticut before enjoying their retirement years in Rhode Island and New Orleans, Louisiana. They later returned to Connecticut to be closer to loved ones. At the time of his passing, Ed resided in Derby, Connecticut, with his beloved family, wife Deb; his stepson Shawn Hemingway; daughter-in-law Lisabeth; and their two beloved dogs, Bleu and Niko.
He is survived by his son Bryan Radigan of St. Augustine, Florida; daughter Jessica Edgerly and her husband Kevin of Lebanon, Connecticut; and granddaughter Tessa. He is also survived by his siblings: Virginia Bonifiglio (husband Willie) of New York; Kay Thomas (husband Woody) of Tennessee; Thomas Radigan of Montreal, Canada; Jean DeToll (husband Peter) of New York; and Kevin Radigan (wife Genia) of New York, along with several nieces and nephews.
Ed found joy in horse racing, UConn men's basketball, the New York Jets, trips to the casino, corvettes, classic cars & boats, following the stock market, cocktails & fine dining, traveling with Deborah, and being surrounded by family. His warmth and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
