It is with great sadness that the family of Donnamarie Elizabeth Fusco announces her passing on November 6, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on August 16, 1957, Donna was a proud graduate of Thomaston High School and Post University. She dedicated 34 years of her career to Hubbard Hall before her retirement.
Donna's passions were many; she loved cooking, tending to her garden, and making jewelry. A member of the Northford Timber Framers, she found joy in crafting and community. One of her greatest loves was showing her English Setters, and her first champion, the Mighty Quinn, named after her favorite song, held a special place in her heart. She served as president of the English Setter Club of New England, where her dedication to the breed shone brightly.
Donna leaves behind her beloved husband, Jack Lannan, along with her brothers Michael, Steven, and Richard. She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews: Michael, Marc, Paige, Molly, Hunter, and Catherine, as well as her great nieces and nephews: Ammon, Lilly, Iszak, Jameson, and Aurora.
She is reunited in spirit with her father and mother, Michael Fusco and Marie (Beale), and her brother Robert. Donna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family is planning to hold a Celebration of Life in her honor next spring.
I am so deeply saddened by Donna's passing. I remember her so well from the Jackson St. neighborhood. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends.
