Donald Warren Fosberg

Donald Warren Fosberg , 84, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2025. Donald was born in Hartford, CT, on June 22, 1940, to the late Roy and Virginia (Goodenough) Fosberg. He was a graduate of Bulkeley High School as well as the University of Connecticut. Donald also served two years in the US Army.

Donald enjoyed a long career as a stockbroker and investment advisor, a position fitting in neatly with his passion for business and the Stock Market. Donald’s other passions were cooking and bridge, and he competed in many bridge tournaments around Connecticut.

Donald was predeceased by his two sons, Kristoff and Brian. He leaves behind two grandchildren, a sister Jean Cass of Woodstock, CT, a brother, Douglas Fosberg and wife Cynthia of West Springfield, MA, a brother Lennart Fosberg and wife wife Gudrun, of Hamburg Germany, and many nieces and nephews.

Donald’s family would like to thank the Grandview Nursing Home, the Oncology Hospice unit of The Hospital of Central Connecticut- New Britain Campus, and the Veterans Administration for all their help and care.

There will be no calling hours. A service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 9:00 in the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s name to The American Legion Post 14, 114 West Street, Vernon Rockville, CT 06066 would be appreciated.
