With profound sorrow, we announce that Diana Zappone passed away on December 18th,
2021, at home surrounded by her friends and family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Diana's desire to socialize and experience life to the fullest encouraged her to pursue a career as a corporate flight attendant after a fulfilling career at ESPN. She has traveled the world extensively during the past ten years and made many friends with her vibrant personality.
She is survived by her husband, Alexis Saade, daughters, Natasha Lange and Nichole
Zappone, her mother, Terri Chacho, father, Steve Chacho, her siblings, Melanie Morales,
Nichole Chacho, Ian Bird and Robert Kavanaugh, the rest of her loving family and her dear
friends who were family to her. She joins her step-father Gary Stark and her grandparents who preceded her.
Everyone who knew Diana is asked by her to celebrate her life in their own way. In lieu of
flowers, Diana would want random acts of kindness in her memory.
Sweet Diana, you are one of the most kind and generous souls that I know. I will miss you and your beautiful presence and smile. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
