Dennis McCarthy was a caring husband, father, poppy, brother and friend.
He left this world after a long battle with cancer on November 14, 2023.
He was born to the late Doris and Robert McCarthy on January 3.
After graduating from Eli Whitney Dennis worked as a mechanical engineer in several companies including United Aluminum, Radio Frequency Systems and Cablewaves where he met his wife Stacie McCarthy. Together they had 3 children Tara, Sean and Jordan.
Prior to his illness Dennis loved anything fitness related, spending much of his time at the gym or working out at home. He wore many titles: husband, dad, brother, friend and his all time favorite title was Poppy. Grandfather to Sean Jr, Caleb, Layla, Hunter and Charlotte who will miss him greatly.
Dennis was predeceased by this parents Doris McCarthy and Robert McCarthy, brothers Russell McCarthy, Thomas McCarthy and William McCarthy.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Stacie McCarthy, his 3 children Tara Houghton (Sabrina Houghton) Sean McCarthy and Jordan McCarthy (Melissa McCarthy), his brother Robert McCarthy and his sister Marion (Sue) McCarthy and many nieces and nephews.
As per Dennis's request, no funeral or memorial services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
