Darleen “Dee” M. Rowland, 58, of Vernon, peacefully passed away Thursday, (March 28, 2019) with her family by her side.
She was born on November 21, 1960, in Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of the late Roger Couturier and Reta Langlois. Dee enjoyed gardening and relaxing with the grandkids in her leisure time. Her enchanting smile, contagious laugh, and overall sassiness will be missed most by her dog and faithful companion, Bailey, and her three daughters: Courtney Pinney and her husband, Raymond, of Stafford, Jennifer Percy and her husband, Jacob, of Tolland, and Katie Visciglia and her husband, Frank, of Southbury, and her son Robert Trahan Jr. and his wife, Sara, of Agawam, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind her six wonderful grandbabies: her “Buttons” Joscelyn Pinney, her “Little Bear” Ray-Ray Pinney, her “Menew” Katalia Percy, her “Bibit” Fallyn Percy, her “Elfie” Riley Trahan, and her “Grasshopper” Frankie Visciglia, along with a sister, Sheryl Duguay and her husband Brian of Bristol and many nieces and nephews.
Instead of a service Darleen has requested there be a celebration of life party in her honor, when the warm weather arrives.
