Connie Shinkewicz DeLorge

In Heaven there was rejoicing as Connie Shinkewicz DeLorge went to live in her eternal Home with Jesus Christ our Savior on Dec. 12, 2024 She was at peace and with family when she took her journey Home. Connie was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, mima, niece, cousin, friend and hard-worker. Those here who will cherish memories of her are her daughter Tricia, sons Shane and Corey.  Mom Linda, brother James and sister-in law Brenda, sister Sue and brother in-law Gary, nieces Ashley, Tiffany and Nicole, nephew Jesse,  grandchildren Shane Jr, Aubrie, Sophia, Jamison, Brant, as well as other family and friends.  Pre-deceased by Dad James, nephew Nickie and other family and friends.  She is surrounded by other loved ones that went Home before her. Connie loved life and enjoyed every bit of it that she could.  She loved spending time with family and friends. She was devoted to those she loved and although her children are grown, they were still her babies... right up until the end of her life here.  Thankfully she got to be with them all and hug each one of them again. This brought her happiness and gave her peace. Connie's kindness, strength, courage, generosity and humor are some things you think of when you think of her. She was a strong, feisty woman.  Connie had many challenges throughout her life, however, she didn't let those stop her from being a loving, generous, strong kind-hearted person.  She would always keep going and meet each obstacle head on. She showed so much strength and courage. All throughout her journey she did what she could to make the best of her life.  She has run her race and now she's receiving the ultimate prize.  Life without pain, happiness without sadness, no more physical or emotional struggles and limitations. Connie was welcomed Home and now has a new life. She is experiencing Joy and Peace. We will all miss spending time with Connie, seeing her smile, hearing her laughter and feeling those hugs, however, although it's not the same, if we picture her in our minds we will still feel her in our hearts. She was loved by us all and always will be We will be together again when we go home, until then we hold you in our hearts and memories. We Love you lots. Family would also like to share our gratitude to those who showed compassion and empathy for Connie and her loved ones.  The wonderful, caring Hospice team, advocate that assisted with special circumstances to give her peace.  L&M hospital's caring Dr's, nurses, and other team members that worked together to help as she went through her journey home. We appreciate everyone involved in making things easier for Connie and our family. You made more of a difference than you could know.  Thank you for listening to what she needed and being willing to provide it for her. You've got a new life to enjoy. Lots of Love. We will meet again 💕 🙏 If anyone has a memory of times with Connie, please share it. We would love to hear about them. Services to be determined

So sorry that you're gone Connie. I didn't get to see you for years. But she was always on my mind, and in my thoughts, I would always ask your dad how's Connie doing. And when he passed, I didn't ask anyone, but it saddens me that you're gone, but you've gone into a better place. We're no longer sufferingSo sorry that you're gone Connie. I remember when we were all growing up and we had to live together because my mom had heart surgery. We would hang out at the football games and stay up all night playing monopoly. I loved the times we spent together she will forever be missed .
