Claudia O’Connor, born on April 12, 1945, passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2025, in Connecticut. She was a compassionate and loving soul who dedicated much of her life to caring for others, spending many years working in health care.
Claudia was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Donna Ung, and her three cherished children, Donald O’Connor , Debbie O’Connor, and Daniel O’Connor. Though she faced profound loss, she carried on with grace and kindness, always finding joy in life’s simple beauties. She had a deep love for flowers and found happiness in surrounding herself with their vibrant colors and delicate fragrances.
She leaves behind her granddaughters, Shawna Schroth and Mikayla O’Connor, as well as her nieces, Tina Chaney, Robin Jacobs, Teresa Hale, and Shawna Mason, and her nephew, Tim Ung. Claudia’s gentle spirit and generous heart touched all who knew her, and her memory will be forever treasured by those who loved her.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. In honor of Claudia’s love for flowers, those wishing to pay tribute may do so by planting something in her memory or extending a hand to someone in need—just as she so often did.
