Bernice Marie (Gaudet) Daly, 82, was born in Comeauville, Nova Scotia, April 29, 1942. Daughter of the late Jean and Marguerite Gaudet. She passed away peacefully January 23rd at the hospital of St. Raphael's. age of 82.
Her family moved to the US and settled in West Haven in 1957 and is a 1963 graduate of West Haven High School. Bernice so enjoyed returning to visit Nova Scotia to Visit her family. Bernice was employed at Parametrics (ABB) and US Surgical, until her retirement 2004.
She leaves behind her husband of almost 60 years, Robert, their three children, Pamela Halloran (Kevin ), Catherine Ranciato and Robert, Jr. along with five grandchildren and two great grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is survived by her twin sister, Denise Daly, sisters-in-law Lydia Gaudet, Marian Daly and Linda Gaudet, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Jean and Allen Gaudet and sister Jeanette Gaudet as well as her brothers-in-law John Daly and Willie Melanson
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405 in Bernice Daly's name.
