In Loving Memory of Arline M. DiSalvo

February 3, 1939- March 17, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Arline M. DiSalvo, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, dear sister, aunt, and friend to many. Arline passed away in Milford, Connecticut, leaving a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

Born and raised in Corona, New York, Arline treasured her family and the friendships she formed in her youth, carrying them with her throughout her life. In 1959 she married Salvatore J. DiSalvo, the love of her life, and together they made a home in Flushing, NY where they raised their family with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

Arline was the proud mother of Steven and his wife Eileen of Beverly, Massachusetts, and Carolanne and her husband Alex of Fairfield, CT. She adored her seven grandchildren Thomas, Christian, Andrew, Sam, Connor, Olivia, and Grace. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in every moment spent with them.

When her children got older she entered the workforce first at the LaGuardia Gift Shop and eventually running the luxury boxes and special events at Shea Stadium and Nassau Coliseum.  Her access to sporting events and concerts made her very popular among the Flushing contingent.

Later in life, Arline made Milford her home, where she formed many wonderful friendships and continued to brighten the lives of those around her with her kindness and generous spirit. She loved spending time in Southold, NY, entertaining in her home by the water.

Her legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will never be forgotten.

Arline is pre-deceased by her father Reno, mother Lena, and brother Andrew.

A celebration of Arline’s life will be held at St, Mary's Church, Milford, CT on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11am.
