Aristotle G Stamatien

Aristotle G Stamatien 94,   passed away March 22, 2025.  He was born May 8th 1930, and  raised in West Haven.  Aristotle was the son of the late George D. Stamatien and Mary Tomkow Stamatien, his family includes sons Arthur and George Stamatien, 5 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his wife Frances Stamatien  ,daughter Mary Jean Stamatien Sparks and 7 siblings.

He learned the electrical trade working with his brother at The Savin Rock Amusement Park.  He held his Connecticut E1 Electrical Contractors License until his passing.  In his early fifties he decided to pursue his passion in horses and became a racehorse trainer, which he was successful until his passing.  The family would like to thank Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Branford Hills for excellent care of  Aristotle .
