Anthony “Tony” Robert Carosielli Jr. Originally from Trumbull, CT
03/22/1959-08/28/2023
August 28th 2023, Anthony lost his long battle with addiction at the age of 64. A graduate of the Trumbull High School class of 1977, Anthony was an intelligent and bright young man. He had a vibrant and social personality which drew people to him immediately. A skilled tradesman, at 19, he became Connecticut’s youngest Master Plumber. His life held endless possibilities. Unfortunately, that bright light was dimmed and his young life took a dark and painful turn after his introduction to drugs which left his family and friends in a long cycle of recurring grief and mourning. Anthony is survived by his children Anthony Carosielli III (Erika), Victoria Woodard (Thomas) and their mother Joann Chmura. He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Augustinsky (Tony), Carol Bartolomei (Paul) and Joanne Pellecchia (Joe). Along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Anthony Carosielli Sr. and Josephine Carosielli. Services will be privately held. May he find the peace in death that he could not find in life. Donations can be made to the following charities that have special significance to Anthony's family: The Center for Family Justice centerforfamilyjustice.org National Association for Children of Addiction nacoa.networkforgood.com Advancing CT Together act-ct.org If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, please find an AA/Al-anon or NA/Nar-anon meeting.
