Anthony “Cubby” Flewelling, 71 of Houlton, ME passed away on June 11,2023 after a brief illness in Hartford, CT with his family by his side. Cubby was born in Houlton, ME on January 19, 1952 to the late Arthur and Viola (Hanning) Flewelling. He is survived by the love of his life Jo, his children Anthony, Brian, Viola “Dolly”, Mary, Crystal, Cheyanne, stepsons Keith and Galen (Lisa) and several grandchildren. Cubby worked in the potato farming industry all his life and was a proud member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. He enjoyed vacationing in all the lower 48 states, cruises and traveling to attend baseball games, Nascar and NHRA drag races. Cubby leaves behind brothers Gerald (Sue), Tom (Charlene), John (Debbie), sisters June, Millie (John), Linda, Sandy along with sisters in laws Lois, Debbie and Pam (Allan) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Louis and siblings Freddy, Charlie, Roger, Dougie and Sissy. There will be no services at this time.
