Althea L. (White) McLellan of Terryville, beloved mother, went home to be with our Lord on February 12, 2025, while at home with her son and daughter, leaving a void that will never be replaced.
Althea was born in Ashland, Maine, daughter of Della H. Coro. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and baking. She baked her amazing bread well into her 90’s and enjoyed sharing it with others. She was very active with her family; they will always cherish the special moments they had together. Althea was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Althea was a devoted mother to five children. She leaves behind a loving son and daughter. Nathan (Carol) McLellan of Terryville; and Karen McLellan of Terryville. Her daughter-in-law Carole L. McLellan of Wallingford, CT. Also, 4 granddaughters, Nancy (Brian) Buscetto of Oakdale, CT; Wendy (David) Kelly of Burlington, CT; Heidi Maguire of Bristol, CT and Shannon (Cameron) McLellan Foster of Altus, OK.
Besides her children and grandchildren she leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren, Klaudia Willard, Alec Buscetto, Reagan Buscetto, Nicholas Buscetto, Evan Maguire, Connor Maguire, Zachary Vigue and Grace Vigue.
She was predeceased by her husband Sterling H. McLellan, sons, Arthur who died while serving our country, and Todd McLellan, her daughter, Diane Peccolo and her grandson Scott Vigue.
Services will be at the discretion of the family.
