Albert Dennis Ryan Sr., 80, of Damascus PA, Formerly of Rutherford NJ, Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Mid State Medical Center in Meriden CT. He was born in Newark, NJ on October 9, 1942, loving son of the late Albert Ryan and Evelyn Ryan(Sprigg) of Newark NJ. Albert was an avid outdoorsman and loved to take his beloved dauschaund Lucky on long walks when he still could. Albert wore many hats in his careers. He worked as a printer for Gubelman Charts/Nashua Corporation in Newark NJ For 33 years, Worked as a truck driver for Classic Sanitation of Jersey City NJ for 12 years , and finished his career as a Custodian for the Wayne Highlands School District in Pennsylvania. Albert will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts.Albert is survived by his loving son Albert and daughter in law Christine Ryan of Bethany CT, Sister Diane Lamothe of Edison NJ, and his beloved grandchildren Ava and Chelsea. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Karen Lynn Ryan(Candia).
A memorial service for family and friends will be held grave side at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst NJ at a later date. Please contact his son Albert at al2275@aol.com for details. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Alberts memory may be made to the the ASPCA.
